Nathan W. Coleman, MD, is a 2009-graduate of The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. His postgraduate training includes his orthopedic surgery residency served at the University of Washington and Affiliated Hospitals in Seattle, WA (2009 – 2014), as well as his sports medicine fellowship performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, NY (2014 – 2015). Dr. Coleman completed his undergraduate education, i.e., his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, in 2004. He attained board certification in orthopedic surgery and the subspecialty of sports medicine with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Furthermore, he is a member of several professional societies and associations, including the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. Dr. Coleman is licensed to practice in Maryland and Virginia. Outside his professional commitments, he enjoys cycling and racing with the OrthoVirginia bike racing team.
